Turn in to Best Performer

First, let me say whichever companies I have been worked, they are extremely great. But sometimes you work on the wrong captaincy which let you down.

👋Ola, My name is Wajahat I am a Designer with knowledge of Design and Marketing. I have designed 40+ Educational Games for the Award-winning app and so many E-commerce Apps and Brand Identities.

I was working on big MNC as a Junior graphics designer, my job responsibilities are to design Print Media stuff and check the print qualities. I did so many different design projects under the supervision of my team lead and help out my seniors to find some fresh ideas and collect them as much as I can, sometimes I get praise for my hard work and dedication towards on my task and sometimes I am struggling to figure out to get things done.

Things going on, and the best thing is coming to đŸ„‡Appraisal, I was so ambitious about rising above my position and some benefits either (finger cross😜). Move forward, I got the evaluation result of my performance is to low and got comment through management (What you have done in this tenure we haven’t seen your performance) I am shocked “Holy Shit😞”. so I asked my reporting Lead/Supervisor and discuss about my evaluation report but I never get a better answer. I heard some news people are getting fire who are not good at their jobs tasks.

LuckilyđŸ€ž! My posting transferred to another department ( I was too scared and I point out my self likewise something wrong in me). My new team lead discussed with me and She/He told me, I know all of the things, I know what’s running on your mind and what happened with you, who is working and who is not. She/He told me, I will give you full creative freedom do whatever you want but we need to meet these deadlines, I am not asking you any questions about your progress until delivery dates will come (I feel relaxed and convenience my self lets do it).

And what I achieved?

  • Certificate of Appreciation for Best Performance.
  • Certificate of Appreciation for Best Team Performance.

Moral Of the story :

Some time you working under the wrong supervision that’s doesn’t mean something wrong in you or you are not capable. Just believe in your self learn as much as you can more importantly whenever or wherever your learn do practice on it. Not every time your employer fault as he/she traps on some office politics. Ask them what happened, why he/she is not performing day by day, conversation with them maybe he/she is your next Champ😎.
